CLIENT CANCELS SESSIONS

The Client may cancel sessions with no penalty or incurred fee by giving at least 24 hours prior notice to the Tutor via email or text. The Client can reschedule in which the makeup sessions is to take place and be completed within 7 days of the date of cancellation or that missed sessions will be lost.

If the Client cancels sessions outside of the 24-hour policy, does not give 24 hours prior notice no refund or discount will be issued.

TUTOR CANCELS SESSIONS
​
The Tutor may cancel sessions by giving 24 hours prior notice to the Client via email or text, no penalty or fee shall be incurred. For pre-paid sessions, the Tutor will reschedule sessions for a date/time which both parties agree upon.

LATE ARRIVALS
​
Fees are pre-calculated and agreed upon by booking a session; therefore, no adjustment will be made for time lost because of late arrival by the Client. If the Client arrives late, the Client will only be tutored for the remainder of the scheduled session. There will be no prolonged sessions.
​
Any late arrive or lost time because of the Tutor, the Client will be compensated by extending a session that is mutually agreed upon.
​
CLIENT NO-SHOW POLICY
​
If Client is more than 15 minutes late, the Client is considered a no-show. If the Client is a no-show, the Client is still responsible for payment for the session. No discount or refunds will be issued.
​
TERMINATION
​
This agreement may be terminated/changed by either party at any time by giving the other party (10) ten days prior written notice. A refund may be given based on a pro-rated balance owed, if a balance is owed.

REFUND POLICY
​
It is important to note that we have a No Refund Policy for all services. Refund requests, including, but not limited to, those made by the Client who cannot attend or use services, regardless of the Client's reason(s), and regardless of whether the Client provides us with advance notice, will not be honored. Exceptions may be made only in cases that the Client cannot attend due to serious illness or the death of an immediate member of the Client’s family. In these cases, official documentation may be required.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE CLIENT/PARENT/GUARDIAN

The Client is to assist the Tutor by identifying problem areas in which the Client needs specific tutoring.

The Client agrees to be prepared for every session by having all materials, utensils, homework, etc.

The Client agrees that assignments, exercises or homework form an integral part of tutoring.

The Parent/Guardian is to be responsible for the student’s conduct and character during the tutoring sessions including promptness, respectful behavior, and staying on task.

The Parent/Guardian is responsible for initiating any communication with the tutor.

The Parent/Guardian agrees to ensure that the student has completed all work assigned by the tutor within the timeframe given.

NO WARRANTIES
​
Mind In Motion or the Tutor does not make promises or warranties with regards to a student’s performance as a result of any tutoring provided. In no event shall our obligations, expressed or implied, to any customer or site user, exceed those obligations specifically noted herein.

AGREEMENT FOR PAYMENT
​
Payment is to be made prior to the start of all tutoring sessions.
​
WHOLE AGREEMENT
​
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between all parties with regard to the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.
